SUMMER HOLIDAY

Turkish baths, bazaars and Blue Flag beaches are just a handful of the things that make Turkey a great destination for your next beach holiday. Bordered by eight countries and straddling two continents, the diverse country is a mix of sights, sounds and cultural customs, making it the ideal getaway for those looking for more than just sun, sea and sand on their next beach holiday.
From the avant-garde Istanbul, home to Aya Sofya which is often referred to as one of the most beautiful buildings in the world, to the ancient city of Perge, the beauty of Turkey lies in the fact that you can tailor-make your trip here with ease.
Visit Byzantine battlegrounds one day, the Roman ruins of Ephesus the next, and why not book in for a traditional Hamman experience while you're at it? You can even use the country as your base to explore the surrounding areas including Olu Deniz where you can take a dip in the famous Blue Lagoon; depending on where you stay, you can book boat trips to several of the Greek islands - ideal for amateur explorers.
If you happen to be holidaying with a party animal, Turkey also has plenty to offer in this remit. This Middle East mélange supplies the nightlife to keep them thrilled, with Gumbet, Marmara and Antalya all competing to give you the best night out possible!
Of course, if it is just a break on the beach you're looking for, Turkey holidays cater for that too, with an impressive 258 Blue Flag beaches scattered across the countries beautiful coastline. The resort of Antalya, also known as the Turkish Riviera, boasts over 400 miles of white-sandy beaches close to the smaller resorts of Lara Beach and Belek.
